Hey, my name is Ashley, I'm 20 years old (as of typing this in February 2015) and I'm the proud owner of a Toyota 86! I purchased the car brand new in 2012 when I was 18 and plan to keep it forever! In the past I've owned a .....
- 1974 Datsun 120Y Sedan
- 1961 Holden EK Wagon
- 1988 Nissan Exa (powered by the CA18)
- 1948 Hillman Minx
- And many other cars not interesting enough to list

I plan to buy a 1991 Nissan 300ZX Twin Turbo in the near future and also modify my beloved 86! So watch this space!

I've also driven and worked on many interesting cars such as, but certainly not limited to a .....
- 1970 Rolls Royce Silver Shadow (owned by my Grandfather)
- Mazda RX8 R3 (also, my Grandfather's)
- Toyota Corolla KE55 (a friend's. He wants me to teach him how to restore cars)

If you have any questions/comments about the cars or modifications I have, had, will get or should get, leave them below!

Some extremely cool stuff there, love the 86 and the Nissan.

I like the wheels on the 86, were they optional? We only get one type over here on the GT86, these.

They're GT wheels. In Australia we have the 86 GT and the 86 GTS. The GTS is exactly the same performance wise (which is why I didn't go for it) with added euro style wheels, leather interior, fancier stereo and some kind of space aged digital display air conditioner. None of which matters to me haha

The BRZ has a pretty cool look. I must say I'm one of the few fans of the goofy smile the BRZ has. However I went for the 86 because I was following the FT86 project from the very first prototype, long before Subaru was involved. So I wanted the Toyota badge. Also the BRZ feels incredibly cheap in comparison to the 86. Which is funny considering that the Subaru costs more as they can only build one BRZ for every twenty 86s

Ah right cool, fair enough. We used to have a similar thing here, but we just had one spec, the GT86. The leather, stereo and climate control were optional. Then came the TRD, which is a £5000 extra. (I guess similar to the GTS?) and built in limited numbers.

More recently the specs have expanded, with the GT86 gaining fancy options and a new "Primo" base spec. We also now get the Aero and Giallo specs above that, the Giallo is again limited run and looks awesome.

I've never really been a fan of the GT86, but god damn something about that car makes it beautiful.

No, we don't get any of those fancy ones like the TRD as TRD isn't a thing in Australia anymore. The GT86 Aero is our 86 GTS, however the Aero kit is optional
