This obviously isn't a picture of the one I owned, but I had a rare car when I was stationed in 29 Palms, California in the Marine Corps (long before anyone had ever thought of digital photography). It was one of 6360 cars. 1982 Indy Pace Car Camaro Z28. Mine was not in nearly this condition as it was about 9 years old surviving the nasty California Desert), but it was a nice car, and it actually had a lot of power for a factory 3rd Gen Z28, especially since it was one of the first years to have an ECM. It was even better after I swapped in a 4 bolt main 350 and ditched the 305.
