My little corolla.

She's not very photogenic anymore but still a trooper. 1992 toyota corolla dx with a 4a-fe and a 5 speed.

Yeah, we want pictures. :P

The 4A-FE is a cracking engine. It's never going to get the recognition of the 4A-GE, but as you're proving it's a strong little thing. 270k is just about run-in.

She's spent her entire 22 1/2 year life in the "rust belt", a section of the US Northeast that has a heavy use of road salt, and that's taken a toll on the outside. Plus she saw me through my college years when money was really tight, it still is but at least now I can afford a few new parts.

It's topped out at 105, and only with the windows shut. but I don't trust it near there anymore, I commute about 60 miles a day so my goal is mileage now. It averages 40 and I can milk it to about 45mpg.
