My beauty at her best:

I just love everything about it. Took a lot of work to get it, but it's just fantastic. Especially now that warmer weather is coming and I can take the roof off ;)

I remember when Nissan was advertising between the intervals on Formula one championship on TV with a 300ZX during early 90`s. Amazing car.
Good luck with yours.

I'm not old enough to remember that unfortunately, though I have seen some great 300ZX ads on Youtube :D
Thanks!

Very nice, is it a TT?

No, as a young driver I'm restricted to the N/A model. FYI, it's a '90 N/A 2+2 targa :P

Ahh, yeah, Insurance woes... I hate being young too, although I'm building up a nice no-claims discount and I'm 25 next year, which ought to knock it down another peg. That's when I swap my 1.8 laguna for a 3.0 V6 with an LPG conversion.

Very tidy ride nonetheless :)

Not insurance, my country and state has strict performance laws in place for young drivers. In short: no forced induction, no more than 6 cylinders, until you're 22.

I can understand that restrictive law but it is a shame for younger`s not driving what they want.
My father had a Nissan Primera 1.6slx in 1990 and I dreamed with the 300ZX Biturbo, the grandson of the Datsun 240Z.
My grandfather drove since 1969 to 1989 a Datsun 1200 Deluxe 5 door. Than he switched for a brand new 1989 Renault 19 1.4 TSE witch is after 23 years my ride nowadays.
Regards.

It is a shame, but the NA 300ZX is plenty powerful. Most people my age don't know much about driving, they'd only do damage in more powerful cars anyway.
Interesting list there :P Most of those cars were never sold in this country, I'm afraid!

That's ridiculous... I mean, the net effect of the insurance industry in the UK is the same (although some of they insurance bands are less logical with respect to the performance of the car than others) but to say somebody who is young is necessarily going to be a more dangerous driver than somebody older is downright patronising. Thankfully I'm 24 with 6 years' claim-free and offence-free driving experience behind me so it's not so ridiculous now, but I still can't reasonably afford to insure anything fast. Not that I'd particularly want to, except for track days :) (although my definition of of 'fast' might have been blurred somewhat thanks to a lot of time spent playing Gran Turismo and Forza :P)

There is some correlation between years spent driving and ability to control a car, but I'd say without doubt that I'm better than some of my unrestricted friends.

Too much Gran Turismo, and suddenly a 370Z looks slow :P

Love that last pic. Looks so clean with the roof off (I just love targa roofs). Also, looks like just the kind of area you should drive a Zed.

Sometimes I hope I crash my Zed, so I can go back to a Z31. I like them too much, but I couldn't justify taking the backwards step :P

To be honest. I love my Z31 alot more than i ever had the feelings for the Z32.
The Z31 has more soul and is truely a fair lady.

You could be right there, but the performance is a bit dull isn't it?
