Hello, This is my car She is called Kelly and is a 1979 Mazda 626 hardtop 2.0 litres she once had almost 100 horses, (actually 98) A five speed manual transmission, and does 0-100 kph in just in time. I first saw her on the internet, and knew i just had to buy her, it was a 3 hour drive, one way, but it was worth it even the 3 hours back in the dark in pouring rain, alone in the car without stereo. All the cars i have had, The ones I have now is Kelly (Mazda) And Sandra (Saab 9000. 2.0i) and a saab parts car


The saab was my daily driver but due to she recently getting rod knock so she is waiting for a new engine from my parts car, wich also happens to be a 2.0 turbo so i am not too sad about having to do an engine swap.

why Kelly? why not matilda? fantastic motor by the way.

She's called Kelly because of that was the brand of tires that were on her when i bought her, And i thought it was a good name for her. She might be old, but she has a good engine, and is in good condition, and is cheap to drive, uses about 0,7-0,8 litres per 10km that i think is quite good for a 34 year old carburated car, my first mazda used 1,5 litres per 10 km on a good day with careful driving,.
