Who can come up with the most dysfunctional but theoretically possible way to build a car?

My submission is a rear engined front wheel drive twin charged diesel rotary.

Let the entry's commence!!

Mod edit: Moved to Off Topic.

Wouldn't you just go left?

Not when counter-steering, or you have a double wheel in the middle, with the left one aligned in the center

Depends on what way the wheel moves I guess.

I do believe that exists in the form of what we call "Dog-leg" cars. There were supposedly quite a few older 80's cars that were so shoddy they only had power to one of the rear wheels.

How about an AWD car with a star-engine on the roof... with the driveshaft passing through the middle of the cabin. :D

What about a lot of go-karts? IIRC, lots of them are one-wheel drive.

How about an ion drive (fueled by xenon gas and powered by a geosynchronous orbital microwave power station network) engine fitted to a car with steering only controlled by a Stability Augmentation System (SAS for short), while the wheels are spherical to enable omni-directional travel. The vehicle also comes equipped with a Reaction Control System (RCS) powered by hydrogen peroxide in order to assist with steering, braking, and the occasional parallel parking maneuver.

Funny part is, I think the RCS would actually be a better system to actually use for general acceleration because the power output by the ion drive would be that incredibly low.

Someone played too much Kerbal Space Program + Mods :P

I would love to see a plexiglass kind of car, where you can actually see all the moving parts while driving. So the driveshaft, wheels, brakes and all those kind of things :D

360 hours is not too much! Erm, especially since I haven't played it since the 10th of February... It certainly would be a very strange layout though, even for a futuristic car!

Of course there is the mid engined atomic car. http://www.damninteresting.com/the-atomic-automobile/
