Re: Tesla

I have driven the Tesla, and am torn on the issue. It is great looking, great performing, and very efficient car, but I find a problem with it.
The electric-ness makes it very odd to drive. Purely for enjoyment, I would hate it. There is no motor sound, and the instant torque makes it feel weird. All the fun of internal combustion is lost.
Besides this, it is one of the best cars on the market. The interior is great, and it offers incredible performance. Unless you are using it for a road trip, the range is no problem.
Also, anything is better than a rebadged Nissan.

PS: I would get the 85, especially if you live on the east coast.

Re: Tesla

I was stuck with that rebadged Nissan from my father, he left it to me. Honestly, it's been a fairly good car, and I do like the vq engine, but some parts of the interior could be better. Rebadged, yes, but improved too, yes.

I would get the 85, but the furthest we go on a road trip with a car is about 130 miles, easily handled by the 60. Any longer, and we just use my truck and go 800 miles on a tank.

Re: Tesla

I assume you, living in Florida, might want to make use of the Supercharger system. That is an extra 2.5k on the 60, but comes standard with the 85. Plus the added performance, accessories, and range. However the 60 is just as good of a car. One thing, make sure to get the leather interior and extended leather package. It gives the car a much more luxurious feel.
