Perfect-Driving Roads

Heyya! Just finished up the pictures from my Iceland trip and thought I'd share some not really Automation relevant pictures: roads worth driving.
So if you have taken some awesome scenic pictures of ... roads ... then feel free to post them here. :)

Don't forget to right-click and choose "display image" (or the non-Firefox equivalent) to properly view the pictures.
Cheers!

Here are my entries: three stitched-panorama shots.

Re: Perfect-Driving Roads

The mountains in the background look somewhat like a skybox in a game. Weird. (not implying you didn't actually go to Iceland)

Re: Perfect-Driving Roads

Yes they do haha :D that is because of dust blowing around on ground level, separating the "skybox" from the landscape. Looks kinda surreal, I have to agree. The distance is larger than one would expect though, which probably also contributes to the weird feel.

This was from when I was in Spain a couple of years ago, mountain road A-397 between Marbella and Ronda. Goes up to a kilometer from sea level.

I don't have my own photo of it, but THIS is one of the roads out of my soon-to-be-home Wellington - https://maps.google.com.au/maps?q=rimut ... 33,,0,2.57
