Forza 3 Challenge/Races

Daffy and I were thinking of organising a few races, probably every sunday. Each race will have set of rules to build and race a car by, over a set of tracks.

If it picks up a bit of momentum we will also do an ongoing car building challenge.

So the inaugural automation Forza Challenge:

Car:
Any front wheel drive car of your choice, build to up to (and including) 350 points.

What is not allowed in the build:

• Slicks(Race Tyres)
• Any additional aero beyond stock.
• Drivetrain conversions (Must remain FWD)

Rules

• We will have forced off assists. No ABS, STM, TCM
• Only allowed auto boxes if on controller.
• Forced cockpit perspective.
• Collision rules are subject to lag/latency concerns. We want it to be on, but sometimes the internet has other ideas.
• Damage is simulation.

Tracks

• Fujimi Old Down Hill
• Maple Valley (3 laps)
• Nurburgring (1 lap)

Times
Sunday 15th May

• EST: 7:00AM
• UTC/GMT: 11:00AM
• AEST: 9:00PM

count me in guys....i see you havent had alot of feedback on this....sux but im still up for racing.although i havent done forza in a long time.....AlfaDave is an avid forza dude,anyway just add me on xbox,same username JonoGTi.....but if this happens can we please have the auto if youre on a pad over ruled please....i aint using auto gearbox LOL!

Oh, no you CAN use manual on a pad if you like, what you aren't allowed to do is use auto on the wheel, cause thats just lazy!

Whilst only sidewynda turned up (Im lead to believe that jono had a big night )it was still epic fun.

We did various things starting with the races we originally planned.

I built a twingo, sidewynda a focus, and zeussy a truly mutant Saab 99


After that we progressed to various tracks in a AWD converted Focus RS (Sidewynda), a very quick Mugen Integra with an s2000 motor (zeussy) and a Turboed & Cammed gen1 MX5/Miata (me)


We'll be doing the same thing again, sametime next week if you want to join us. (you might want to prepare a B500 car as thats what we will probably race)
