Why wasn't nirvana Banned?

In September 1991, Nevermind by nirvana was released, it had a naked baby on the cover. lead singer kurt cobain responded to the allegations of child porn with:

"If you are offended by the cover you a closet pedophile" - K. Cobain

So that means the people who arrest, indict, try and sometimes even execute pedophiles pedophiles themselves? Are innocent people like you, me, your parents, siblings, teachers, policemen, firemen, doctors, politicians, scientists and others pedophiles themselves?

That might explain some things. Well we here in Romania at least, are not offended by naked babies. Just being naked shouldn't be considered having any sexual meaning. If it does for you, then it's your problem.
Of course there's a bigger discussion to be had on this topic, but I'm not gonna go further than this because It's a stupid issue.
