What cars are you looking forward to driving this year?

I'm always looking for article ideas and one thing we do when we are sitting around trying to figure out what to write about is talk about upcoming cars that we can't wait to drive. I think it's fun to see the different tastes of everyone and to see what they are looking for. 2012 is going to be a block buster year for new cars and with summer right around the corner we will start seeing them real soon.

We've already gotten our mitts on a BRZ and loved it, although it needs another 50hp in a big way. That was certainly first on our list to drive. The C7 Vette should debut later this year but we may not get to drive it until next year. That's of huge personal interest to me being a C6 owner. Obviously the new Viper is also high on that list. In a little more boring terms I'm interested in driving a Chevy Malibu Eco. Chevy is real close on the Malibu to having a real winner of a car there. Also the Chevy SS is going to be pretty exciting even though we already know what it's like with the Commadore and Pontiac G8. The Cadillac ATS is promising as well especially since it might give us our first glimpse at either the smaller displacement LS engine or an amped up version of the turbo V6. Japan doesn't have too much else exciting in the pipeline this year but I hear next year will be good.

Just Repaired an 2012 Mercedes AMG SL65 was in a minor fender bender.. suv backed into drivers side fender very hard..... luckily there was no serious major damage but a hefty bill for anyone who wants to own a $212,000 car... when i test drove the car i had hardly touched the gas and the had no problem loosing traction with the traction assist off. a V12 has amazing power... i had alot more fun with it that day..hahah the owner was cool though.. not an old uptight jerk... when a 27yo kid buys a car like this in full it tells u exactly what he does for a living ...lol

My dear friends...

I'm so happy.
I have bought a car yesterday.
A very nice 1979 Puma GTB/S2.
It's a brazilian GT built by Puma Cars.
It was the most expensive brasilian car at its time.
Car imports were banned in Brazil between 1976 and 1990 by stupid reasons.

I'm looking forward to driving my 1956 beetle :P. Barely had any time to drive it last summer, think I drove it for 100km at most. I did fit the carburettors with velocity stacks before putting it back in the garage, haven't tested them yet.
And yes, my bug has a dual carburettor engine:D. Bought the Wolfsburg reproduction of the Okrasa engine kit for 36hp engines a few years ago (the original is from the 50ties and very rare, 5000 euros for a kit that has to be machined/fixed is quite normal), with carburettors and dual port heads with much larger intake valves. Unfortunately the reproduction kit was crap: threw away the carbs after a few months, bought 34mm Weber carbs instead, shortened the intake manifolds, and now all that I have left of this kit is the heads.
