l6 not inherently balanced?! WTF Automation?

So I was playing Automation last night and I noticed the l6 isn't inherently balanced as it should be?

I'm guessing you're noticing that the I6 tilts when you increase the revs?

That's not down to the engine being balanced or unbalanced, when the crankshaft spins at high speed it tries to twist the engine itself with it. That happens with all engines.

And even when it comes to smoothness, the expression "inherently balanced" tends to ignore a few more minor causes of vibrations.

So it will be smoother, but not magically vibration free.
