Steam update error

I have bought the game from steam just 2 days before... till yesterday was running okay...today when i push the start button the steam downloads endless the latest update finishing and starting again and again without openning the game..it only gave me an error message that failed to start the game due to some corrupted files.(i downloaded some lights and etc from the workshop page from steam).So what to do now?

Have steam verify file integrity first then report back if you still have issues. I get errors from time to time and this fixes 99.99% of them.

okthnx it seems usefull and easy...i reinstalling the game now if i still have the problem ill try this

Ohhh, I meant to report this. I had this same error Friday after updating. I closed the error window and mine restarted just fine, however.
