Failure to launch @ high resolution.

I am running into an issue where Automation will not run @ my native resolution. (3840x2160) in boarder-less window (I am aware full screen is buggy right now :D ). It will run in windowed mode (which equates to 3834x2091) But the background for the *home* menu is black instead of the rotating car/garage

All resolutions south of that appear to work correctly, but once I ask for the full 4k, the application cashes, and display the background.

If it is of any help for you, my system specifications.

Win 8.1 64bit
AMD FX-8350
GTX Titan-X (12gb Vram)
DDR3 2400 8gb x 4 (32gb)
Primary/Secondary Drives Crucial M4-256gb SSD

Edit: Though I gotta say, I do enjoy that the "photo" button works to take a picture at what appears to be 4 times the resolution.

Re: Failure to launch @ high resolution.

The magic number is once the Automation client addresses more than 4,700mb of video memory, it crashes.

If I launch 4k windowed, it addresses right up to 4,650mb, but there is no background on the main menu.
If I launch 4k boarderless, it will start to address up to 4,152mb, and crash.

I am quite certian it is not the GPU, I have loaded it up to its full 12,228mb buffer for testing purposes.

No error code to provide though. Sorry.

Re: Failure to launch @ high resolution.

That is some big resolutions you are running :) unfortunately we have a monitor like this to test it on and what it does to resource handling :s
I'll ask our programmer if there is anything that can be done about that, but I think you will have to wait for our switch to the Unreal Engine before you can run such resolutions :)
