Downloaded engines not showing up in game (Steam)

I have the motors correctly placed in Documents\My Games\Automation\Engines but they are not showing up for some reason. I even moved one to the families folder and it still did not show up. Any help would be appreciated.

Which engines are you talking about, can you provide links? If the links are older than the latest update than your engines will not work, the old system is incompatible with the new.

I think they are the old version. I found them on the forum. I stepped away from the game for awhile and a lot has changed so I'll have to get used to all these changes.

Yeah, the new family/variant system has destroyed all of the older engines. The game probably will crash if you try to copy old engines into the game.
