Some game bugs? + software optimization

So after being away from the game for some time, i tried it out Again. But i found som bugs whit the exhaust and had hoped for a better optimization of the game whit the new game engine on the cpu load. But it is stil just as bad and i now the game is still in develepment, so by pointing it out now i hope it will be fixed.

First the exhaust bugs depending on the size.

About better optimization is because the game lag at certain times even so i have more than enough CPU and GPU power in my PC. Because the game only runs on 1 cpu core and 1 to 2 thread(s) (my CPU has hyper threading) on the same cpu core.
I ask for a better CPU usage over more cores/threads. That would make the game run so much better special under heavy load and would properly also make the game load faster under start up. And as can se on the image one of the threads all ways runs on 100 % load and that is not good for a running game since it can cause lag compare to if the load whas more spread on more cores and not hitting 100 % load all the time.

They're not on the new engine yet. It's still on the same engine as before Steam release. Switch to new engine will be in next couple months, according to the last dev update I watched.

Oh i see. I just think they where on the new game engine. But if not that explain why the game not running better yet. Thanks for your answer.

The current engine cannot do multithreading and it is not a simple thing to add.

It should hopefully be better with the engine change.

Re: Some game bugs? + software optimization

The current engine is multithreaded, the game logic, renderer and sound each run on a seperate thread. But that is 3 threads, it is not a fancy job/queue system that will eat up as many cores as you can through at it.
