Hey guys, just found a small bug in the latest version (compared to the previous), I have all my options set to standard US spec (inches, AKI, pounds etc) and the brake sizes are being shown in mm instead of inches. Just a FYI.

Another bug. The 7 speed manual has only 6 gears, and the spacing is f**ked. With a top speed of 333 i had about 150 km/h in first gear, spacing 100. If i went with spacing 0, then the speed in first was over 250.

The gearbox is now ok, just restarted the game. :? :? :?

One of my engines cause the problem. It is also for the 7 speed Seq gearbox.

I found another bug: When making a car, then making a second trim for the car, I selected the family for the engine to use on that second trim and it redirected me to the main menu. I went back to sandbox and the second trim I made showed for engine name: nil. I then revised the car and I ended up with the correct engine family and a second trim to that engine family to play with.

(in sandbox) If you go and create or check any model and (exiting from cars section) then go to the engine section, you will get a nice collage of menu icons too.

I have pinned down and fixed the Timeline art project bug.

I did get this to occur once, still working on a good replication for it.

Next one, the small '40s sedan has no Ladder Frame option so you can not build it until the 50s when the Monocoque becomes available.

Hey - just looked into that.
I could choose a ladder frame.
Went for a 1940 Body Choice - could you post how you proceeded to get no choice of a chassis?

It's caused by the name conflict in the community mod pack.

To fix it, do the following:

1.go to automation's folder in steam directory, and then go to /assets/meshes/cars/mid/small/40Sedan
2.change the name of that folder to something else.
3.open the body.lua file that is in there
4.change the name in the namefield to something else, like "40SedanMid"
5.Then, make sure you select the front-engined version of the small 40's sedan in the game.

That did it! Thanks! And I will remember to make sure I say I have the mod pack, forgot about that.

Found another bug.

I have a inline 6 engine family. My first engine is destrocked. I wanted to creat a second engine that is tuboed, but when i went to edit the volume (of the engine model) it was stuck to 86/86 mm.

About the pictures.
Yellow - engine family stats
Blue - first engine model stats
Red - bug

Something weird happens if you play with the gearbox ratios.
The first couple times it happened when choosing a value of 7, sequential and double clutch. All the ratios went almost together and the top speed value changed to a different one (screen below).
I've not been able to see/find a pattern, but if you play for a while changing the gearbox and the ratios finally you will get that 'bug'.
I've only seen it happening with a ratio value of 7 or 8 in any kind of gearbox.

I think is related with:

Restarted and ok...

(Update): ok If you change a RWD car to AWD tada!!!, it happens (not always  ).

It allows some pretty amazing achievements for a 1940's car made of the finest high sulphur waste iron (all -15 quality)...

Where's my cars, dude? I create a car in sandbox, go back to the main menu, exit the game. When I come back, the car is GONE! Yet the engine I made for the car is still there somehow!
