Reinstalled Automation after resetting my laptop. Worked flawlessly before besides the occasional freezing on random intervals and when selecting various body parts.

The car designer works but the engine designer does not. I cannot select any inline engine, but the V8s work well.

Game fried on install. Uninstall like normal, delete the info from your documents folder and erase the registry entry and install again.

Just uninstalled, cleared folder from documents, and cleaned registry. Still having the same issue

Download the launcher again and re-download the game.

My computer ain't having it. This game refuses to work correctly now. Every time I try to report this issue, nothing happens.

You could try a manual install, I don't have a link as I'm on mobile, but normally bugs like this are caused by the launcher failing to behave in certain cases. Doing a manual install should work.

If anyone can provide a link that would be helpful

My problem is that I can build the inline engines but the testing part does not work.
I tried the V8 build and it works but inline does not. Is the engine build somewhere
along the line of parts placement have a bearing (no pun intended) on this?
Maybe my build is off somewhere but its not telling me where I went wrong....

PS. I tested and saved a V8 (1940 start) and after I did that, the inline engines
started working on the testing & saving. The only thing that happened was valve
float and game requested I lower the RPM limit on both engines. Inline 6 was built
like Chevy Stovebolt 235 and the V8 was modeled after the famous Chevy 283 engine.

This definitely sounds like old files being left over from and old version breaking Inlines.

You can use The Automation Cleaner tool OR right click on the Automation shortcut -> Properties -> Open File location, and delete the scripts, assets folders. Unfortunately the Uninstallers are a bit dumb and don't delete files that were not originally installed so can leave newer patched files behind.

Then manually download an install B1417 and the B1415-B1418 update.

Where do I find the "Automation Cleaner Tool" ?
I downloaded the demo a few days before I bought
the game. When this game comes to Steam, will it
become a steam game by itself or do I have to help
it in some way ?
