LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

As the title states, I have been faced with this error that seems to be comparing nil to a number (as seen in the attached image).

All I can recall from memory of the engines stats are it was a 1.8L (1808cc) Inline 4 DOHC DI Turbo 16V with tech sliders maxed and the manufacture year is 2014.

The turbo settings where the standard settings yet to be tweaked any.

The exhaust diameter was to allow around 260HP with highflow cat and nothing else.

Thats about all I can remember from the top of my head.

Re: LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

Do you get the same error with both test modes?

Re: LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

Not to sure unfortunately, I tried the "Retry" button a few times and it just returned the same error every time I tried it. So then I pressed cancel and Automation then closed, so the engine I was working on was not saved.. I cannot test it again as I do not have the exact specs I had set written down anywhere.

Re: LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

Odd, and have you made engines before and after without problem?

Re: LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

Sorry about the late reply, I sure have made other engines pre and post error, so far have not had the error again, been trying to replicate it to provide more useful feedback.

I tried to look at the file in question to see if I could make a "Hacky Fix" (hacky as in a workaround) but was greeted with obfuscated/encrypted LUA files (which I can understand why too) so unfortunately I cannot provide much more insight to the issue...

Re: LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

Maybe post your KeeEngineLog so one of the devs can have a look at it? (Located in Documents/Automation folder)

It seems a lot of people are having various LUA errors related to testing. Mostly it's just a one-off thing though.

Re: LUA Error while trying to test Engine.

I think I have found the problem.

It should be fixed in the future, it is caused by comparing cooling requirements to a previous engine which did not have the stat for some reason.
