Re: Build B1362+ Bugposting Thread

Hi,

Models & Platforms created before the patch was applied were not found by the game

I checked the "AUTOMATION/MODELS" folder and the LUA files corresponding to my cars are still there.

Are the platforms in the platforms folder still there, too? If they are missing, the models won't show up either.

Yes, the platforms files are still in the platforms folder

Edit : I had a look at the KeEngineLog.TXT.

I noticed that at the end of the file there is information about loading motor texture but nothing about platforms/models.
I have no idea if it's relevant.

Re: Build B1362+ Bugposting Thread

I got a pretty big problem here... my launcher doesn't update to the new version, if i try to download it shows an error immediately, saying something like it can't open the installer/updater, i tried a good 20 times, tried to clean Automation with the Cleaner, I even tried reinstalling the game, everything fails  Is this my junk PC's fault or something is wrong with the updater?

Well, some other people had a similar problem (404) until it was fixed today, but that one is weird. Is the launcher maybe blocked by some anti-virus program or firewall? We'll have a look tomorrow!

Re: Build B1362+ Bugposting Thread

Sorry if I missed this or if I am an idiot (most likely)

I updated to Build 1362, started the game, at the home screen I clicked on Sandbox and it comes up with a Lua Error: Step() failed!: [string "--File:.\scripts\shared\functional\SANDBOX..."]:38: attempt to index local 'family' (a nil value)

If I click retry it will send me to the Car Manager screen, if I click Cancel it closes the program.

I ran Automation Cleaner and deleted all of my models and engines and tried again, but it still does the same thing.

Did you delete your platforms, too? They might cause that.

Re: Build B1362+ Bugposting Thread

I did, but for some reason the files did not want to be deleted, so I repeatedly deleted them until they were permanently gone, so now it's all fixed :D
Thanks!
