Engine Fitting and Cooling Question

Firstly I want to say kudos to the Automation team for the latest update! Fitting the engine to the car body is one of the features that I'm waiting for (besides v6  ).

But I have a question. Especially about cooling. I can't fit an engine because the car body can't cool specified amount of HP. I know that I need to add some cooling fixtures to do so, the problem is not all grilles and vents add the cooling capacity. Is this a bug or just haven't been coded yet? What are my options besides of adding grilles and vents? I'm fitting a 400 HP engine and I already added so much vents and grilles that my car looks stupid but I haven't reached cooling capacity for 400 HP engine.

Second question, how do I enlarge the engine bay? I wanted to fit a 6.5 L engine but I can't.

Thanks in advanced guys!

I tried probably all of the grilles and vents and they all add cooling capability for me. Could you post a screenshot of what is not working for you? Cooling 400 hp is no problem at all.

Maybe you can enlarge the engine bay a bit by morphing the body, but the main factor is your drivetrain setup. You only can fit small engines in transversally, especially when you use transverse AWD. The biggest engines are possible with longitudinal RWD (at least a 9.6 liter V8 Turbo is possible in the limosine body, probably even bigger stuff). Engine bay size depends on body size a lot. Bigger bodies will be added when they are done, then it will be easier to fit in big engines.

Sorry, my mistake about the cooling. They have to be correctly placed

And anyway, about morphing the body, I tried enlarging the engine bay as large as possible but I don't see improvement in engine capacity count.

Engine bay Capacity is only linked to initial body choice at the moment. Deforming the body doesn't add any engine bay capacity. Thing's are complex enough to manage as it is :P

Thanks for clearing things up. So for now there's no way to increase the engine bay capacity other than using front longitudinal setup and selecting body choice with biggest engine bay capacity I guess.
