Some people are experiencing problems loading the game using the latest update, version 1194.
This is due to old engine files not being properly initialized. You can fix this by removing these engine files by deleting them or making a backup of them and move them away.

The folder you need to do this in is (or similar to): Documents\Automation\Engines

Had this and deleting them worked. Massive shame I have to remake my engines again. Also the cars i designed before this update don't show up in the game? Was deleting them part of the update too?

The platforms were no longer compatible, and we should have deleted the engines as well, as you see it caused massive problems for people.
This is the difficult part of having an early release model like we do: you cannot guarantee backwards compatibility before the full release, things change. Never expect to be able to keep any of your models or engines!

I went in the folder, cut out the engines and thumps, put them in a separate folder, still does the same thing. anything else you suggest?

Did you remove them from the Automation folder entirely?

its not all engines.
I was testing to found a specific engine.
I have 20 engines and only 3 of them was crashing the game. 3 engines, same engine but 3 revisions.
Was 3 revisions of an 4 cylinder 1.6L

it was 4 revisions to be more exactly
the revision 2 I deleted days ago when i was building them by stages. The rev 3 was a better result of rev 2. So i deleted it.
And I made 3 tutorial engines on scenarios. The 3 first
It also count to freeze the loading (on my system).

I went through all my engines 1 by 1 and turned out to be only 2 of my engines were causing issues with loading.

I tried your engines and it freezes my loading too.
I think there is not a too much variable problem. It seems to be the same at all

Originally i thought it was just engines with DOHC that were causing the problem but the ones you uploaded were all OHC. Also i think i had some DOHC that had no issue

I have some DOHC but all of them works fine

hi , just brought this game yesterday and installed all the latest updates but it keeps freezing on the loading screen just after the pistons appear... the music keeps playing but nothing else seems to happen, I've tried loading and all different quality's but no luck! I did check that my laptop was good enough to play the game and everything seemed fine...
someone please HELP! its pretty annoying as I was really looking forward to playing.
