Loader crashes after Windows update

My game loader keeps crashing after Windows updated back in August. Any idea on how to fix it?

That sounds like a .net update has gone wrong and corrupted something.

nothing. did the diagnosis and made the changes it suggested, but it remains the same. the same thing happens to some some other programs, such as desktop gadgets, and other loader-based programs.
