I just preodered the game, and when i go to the aspirated section i can only use twin turbo. There is no other turbo option. :S

For V8s you currently can only use twin turbos. Try inline 4 or 6 and you can use single turbos. Other configurations will come when they are done (not in the near future).

Do you know when an actual demo of the car designer will be out?

From my understanding it has been said it was coming out for a while now and it still hasnt happened.

The Car Designer demo will be done some time Q4 13 if things go as planned. Probably we'll release an intermediate update including the cosmetic parts of the Platform Designer (a part of the Car Designer) before that though.

any chance that you can release the artless engine types you have access to in the closed beta somehow?

Nope, same answer as always, we only release those parts of the game that are completed to a standard we're happy with. We're not going to release engines that are invisible and have no sound just because people don't want to wait for us to finish them!
