Ok this is kind of a weird situation and want to know any possible fixes. i am running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit. when i first installed the launcher and game everything worked fine. the after i shut my pc off for the night and came back on the next day i had to uninstall the game and launcher before it would work again then it was fine all day until now today when i started my pc and tried to play it again it doesn't work. So basically i have to uninstall and re install the launcher and game after every time i shut the pc down. What it does is every time i start the application under administrator and the launcher pops up fine but the screen stays blank accept at the bottom it says downloading version info for about 3 to 5 minutes then comes up with page unavailable and the play game and play demo button stay inactive. i have preordered the $35 version of the game. But having to uninstall and re install the game and launcher after shutting down the pc every time is getting tiring. any help is appreciated.
Re: Game and Launcher messing up
That is very bizarre, we use Win 7 Ultimate as our developement environment and don't experience that.
Are you installing the Launcher do a different directory than the default?
Or If you are just leaving it on the defaults, have you tried installing it to somewhere else, e.g. C:\Automation

Yah so far i just was installing it to the default location. Which was C:/Program Data/Automation. I will try a different location and see what happens

ok. just uninstalled and reinstalled into a different directory and worked fine. Restarted my pc just to check and.......... wait for it...... wait for it....... BAM, still have the same problem.
Re: Game and Launcher messing up
my best guess would be that you dont have admin rights over you documents folder where some of the files are saved

Re: Game and Launcher messing up
Yes i have full admin rights
Re: Game and Launcher messing up
Can you right click on the short cut to Automation, Properties, and make sure the "Start In" folder is set to where Automation is installed to.

Re: Game and Launcher messing up
I just checked and yes it is set to start in the directory that i installed it to. Here is exactly what happens. I double click the shortcut, then the windows permission window comes up and i click ok then, icon and the launcher comes up, i have also tried the icon right in the directory with the same result, then it says downloading version info in the lower left of the launcher, then it keeps saying that with a blank white screen for about 2 minutes or so never actually timed it, but then evetually the blank white screen turns into like what a web page does when you can't connect to the internet. I have checked my firewall and all seems like it should be fine. But what gets me is after i first reinstall it as long as i dont shut my pc down it works fine. but the seocnd i shut down or restart the pc then it does this. so something must be blocking it from connecting but can't quite figure out what.
