Turbo Issue?

I placed a turbo on a engine, works fine, but I'm not sure if your aware or if this was just implemented in to save you from more calculations.. but I know from real life that the more boosht you add, the lower your fuel usage should be because it in " theory " replaces some compression in the cylinder ? but the more boost I add, nothing happens ? or is it just cause I am using carbs and not other forms of injection but so far I've tested and no change in fuel consumption

Re: Turbo Issue?

You only get better economy at low levels of boost, around 0.2 - 0.3 bar. As boost increases the economy drops off, as more fuel is used to keep the charge cool, and stop the engine from knocking.
