I suppose that private messages have been disabled, but I'm not sure so : Do the private messages are currently disabled ?

Because I can't find where I could write a PM...

How about the "New PM" button?

There is no New PM button.......

On the top of the page is the link you need to click that says "x new messages". (x being the number of messages) On that page you'll find the "new pm" button.

For reference, the "x new messages" link is between "user control panel" and "faq". You can also PM people by hovering over their usernames, it should bring up a dropdown menu with the PM link being the 2nd option. If you still can't find it there may be a problem with your browser not displaying the site correctly.

Ok... Web browser does not support this action...... I can't send PM on Firefox 18.0.1

I think I found the error for this... not sure what to do about it yet though. It seems that there is a mix-up of newly registered users and normal users... newly registered users can't write PMs. But I don't know if we actually changed anything since it worked ;( gonna check with Cas tomorrow.

Beta testers, mods and devs do have the PMs because they are in different forum permission groups.
