Hi there,

I pre-ordered the $35 edition and only seem to be able to make/design engines? As cool as that is, I've seen demos from 2011 showing people making cars and other things.

Am I missing something or has the game regressed in progress since 2011?

Currently the only part that has been released to the public is the engine designer, the car designer videos you've seen were of very early versions of the car designer (which is still in development).

We aim to have a car designer demo released early next year

After posting I came to the assumption that that might be the case.

Oh well, as much as I'd like to play with the car designer now, I can wait This looks like a very promising and interesting game. I am happy to support it. Thank you for the response.

I certainly would agree It's quite different from how we produce software where I work, lol.

Though this might be getting horribly off topic, I remember playing Fish Tank's Car Tycoon many years ago and even though it sometimes was horribly difficult to get to work with any computer I had at the time, it was a fun game. It blows my mind that there are so few Car Tycoon type games out there.
