Flashing Cursor

Last few times i've tried to run the game, my mouse appears within a black flashing box , making it hard to select anything ... also game seems to be running rather slow as well

ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2
intel core2 quad 3Ghz
8gb ram

In some cases for games on Vista you may need to turn DEP off for games to work in Windows Vista.

no the game runs. the cursor flashes within the game rather then displaying properly, and its not all the time either.
