Huge error for some reason about Lua and nil values

---------------------------
Lua Error:
---------------------------
Step() failed!: [string "--client\start scripts\main.lua..."]:71: attempt to index a nil value

I have no idea what this means. The game worked before, and now I just got this error when I pressed "play game."
What is happening?

Can you try to (re-)move your save folder or the last saved car?
Documents\My Games\Automation
that's the folder you find the save files in.

The error seems to be hit and miss. I didn't see any save files in the Automation folder, so I tried to start Automation and it worked. I deleted the car and its engines ingame. Will that work?

Did you look in the correct folder? You may have been looking in an old Automation folder (Documents\Automation) instead of the new one (Documents\My Games\Automation). But if it is working after the cars and engines are deleted then that was it. :)
