hey guys, could anybody give me a hand with my issue here, ive installed the launcher and it seems to load fine, i havent been asked for a login as of yet as the launcher comes up with a window that says:

"Update for launcher found, download now?".

on this step i click yes and after 1 second it comes up

"file download complete. press ok to install"

I then click ok and all of a sudden the program stops responding and crashes. i have tried this with about 5 different launchers i have redownloaded from the downloads page. the only difference i have found is that the first window that came up was of "new build found, would you like to update now" or something similar to this, in which it claims it has downloaded in 1 second, i click ok and the launcher just crashes for no apparent reason.

i have read through the forum and it seems the only thing that people have found causing this issue is the firewall, in which i have all antivirus disabled but windows wont allow me to open my firewall in order to add automation to an exempted list.

any other ideas what may be causing this issue and how to solve it?

Note: i have also tried using the program in admin mode and in compatibility mode all to no avail

i did so about a week ago, i presume Zuessy was the one who was at Targa. therefore why i havent managed to get a reply yet

Nope, that was me at Targa, and Zeussy is usually very quick to reply.. odd. Send it again and I'll make sure it comes through and gets looked at

i just sent it through then.
