The difference between CR Steel and Galvanized Steel?

CR Steel is stainless steel AFAIK.
Galvanized is zinc plated.

Posted: Sun May 24, 2015 6:11 pmCR Steel is a general term for all corrosion resistant steels, so basically all reasonably modern steel used in basic car construction. The rust resistance is baked into the material itself instead of just at the surface like with galvanized steel.
