Steam Updates overwrite?

I went on steam and look at the latest patch info. It has some new bodies but I already had modded bodies with the same name. Will the steam update overwrite the files or are my files still the modded version?

From what I know about steam, it will not overwrite.
Although I would reccomend you delete the following mods before doing the update to be 100% sure to have the exact same stuff as everyone.
-Partario's sedan
-The defender like off-roader
-The 80s american sedan
-The not-miata
-The LMP
