Hello guys i know you are all working hard on one of the best early access games out there but i ask the community and devs if they have time if someone would be able to make a guide on how to increase different stats in the cars. such as

Engines:
increasing MFBT
Controlling emissions
Increasing responsivness

things along that line and in general making cars better. i know this is a big ask but at least making this an ongoing collaboration or someone pointing out a forum about this or something would be appreciated.

There is a couple of different, simple things that are somewhat explained inside the game already:

MTBF/Reliability: Normal airfilter, shorter stroke + lower RPM
Emissions: Exhaust types, Fuel mixture, compression, piston head types
Responsiveness: Used to know this, but it was quite hard for me to understand before, too. Been playing too little lately to remember exactly.

Responsiveness is mainly affected by the fuel system used, the AF ratio, the compression and the ignition timing.

Also, for MBTF, using more durable internals will let you rev more before experiencing issues.
