moving parts

Hey!

Very happy with the new update! First off GREAT work guys! if this is a show of things to come its looking awesome the final product!

Question, in the trailer on steam for automation and on one of the tutorial videos in the game there is a part where the suspension is moving imitating bumps and the vehicles are all at different heights (changing the ride height is actually displayed). How do I get the suspension to do this in my game or is this just "fancy" advertising?

Maybe it could be implemented in an update where when you set the suspension type (i.e sport, comfort or off road) the game displays the suspension on an invisible road, so off road it will test out the flex, comfort will make the suspension look like its on a bumpy coral road and so forth... don't get me wrong the update is great but I'd really like to see more "visual" effects of the changes I am making on my car and how they will look and handle :)

But yeah any feed back thanks!

Re: moving parts

You will get visual feedback on the ride height eventually at least.

Press numpad +/- to make the suspension move

Thanks for the info but still no luck? At what stage during building the car does this work? Under suspension set up or right at the very end when you get all the status on ur vehicle (drivability, comfort and so forth)

Thanks in advance

Also to save making a new topic to ask it... Daffyflyer can you comment if under drivability or under the main states could we get towing capacity added? Maybe have a tick box to say "allow towing" I mean your not going to want to tow with a sports car but it be nice for when we make SUV's and pickups :)

Please and thank you :)
