Ventilation and grills on body

Hey guys, I had written a query on your contact page however I think you were experiencing a problem with it. Anyway my question was regarding air intakes and the like, and whether the placement/design of these in any way effects engine or brake temperatures due to changes in air flow? That would give a whole lot of purpose to the actual design of grills and vents.

Currently they have no effect except you have to have some form of grill/vents.

So will we be allowed to randomly plop down vents anywhere on the car body? Its not a proper super car unless it has a strange name and a bunch of ducts and vents everywhere.
