Can't Zoom out enough?

So I've had the game a long time now and I still love it, eagerly await the next update :D

But I feel like when I create a finished engine, no matter the size of it V8, l4, large or small capacity, I can't zoom out as much as I used to, maybe I'm just imagining it but I feel like I can barely fit the entire engine in the display?

Perhaps your resolution settings are set low

The game is set to my maximum resolution (1440x900) and quality settings are maxed.
I'll get a screenshot of what I mean next time I play to see if its normal...

Yup, post a screenshot, I've not seen this problem before.

Re: Can't Zoom out enough?

So after realizing that I can't get a screenshot in fullscreen I went into windowed mode and got one.
Being in windowed mode helps a little, the engine is easier to fit onto the display although with the UI overlay I still feel I could do with the 'camera' being a bit further from the engine.
He's my 785cc twin turbo V8. So its quite small but it literally fills the screen. The issue is slightly worse in fullscreen, I opened the same engine to the same angle and the intercooler is completely out of the view area air filter is closer.

I assume this might not be an 'issue' but rather how the game is intended, I just feel like given the ability to zoom in there should be more zoom out available?

Re: Can't Zoom out enough?

Something is not right there, here is a 700cc v8 at max zoom out on my Automation.

I'm assuming you're zooming using the mousewheel?

Yes I have been zooming using the mouse wheel. I'll try the + and - buttons later, thanks

Re: Can't Zoom out enough?

Sorry to threadjack, but that exhaust is comically large compared to the engine.
