Wheel Weight

Hello devs! Love what you're doing, had a couple of questions for you.

1. Is unsprung weight a factor in any calculations?

2. Will the different wheel types that have been previewed have different weight values?

Just curious, thanks!

Re: Wheel Weight

The unsprung weight is part of calculations, of course, especially of the comfort/bump simulation.

I don't know if different rim weights will be in or if the rim choice is just for the looks of the car. In my opinion, the weight differences of steel vs. alloy rims are not big enough that it must be implemented in the game. When it comes to more exotic materials, it could be worth to be considered of course.

Re: Wheel Weight

We are going to put in different materials for rims, this will be part of the next big update. Apart from weight, they will have only minor impact on car stats, of course.
