Microcars or City Cars

Considering how small you can make engines, are there plans to include some Microcar, Microvan, and Microtruck bodies in the game? Such as bodies based on the various Volkswagen Beetles, Minicoopers, Smartcar, Nano, Hijet, and Kei.

Note I'm not asking about cars like the peel, Isetta or anything of that wheel configuration or extremely small size. I would imagine the game engine and car designer would get mad at you if you tried to add one of those.

Well they said they were going to get around to adding light trucks. So unless they meant pick-up trucks, a micro truck is simply a smaller, city oriented version of a light-truck.

Yeah, it remains a possibility, but probably not in the near future with all the multiplayer optimisations and other things to add for the Steam release.

Also could be added by modders in the future too.

I got the feeling that they meant things like these for "trucks", basically variants of car models.

In that case I have another question then, what do the devs mean by "truck"?

By trucks I mean what Australians would call utes, everything from a Subaru Brat/Brumby up to roughly Ford F250 size.

Not sure, will at least have some Kei sized hatches, but not sure about small trucks.

Car bodies is something that can always go in later.

Assuming the game is popular enough, I'm sure we can expect a car body dlc pack every few months.

And hopefully we get a good modding community for this game as well.

Well with the base game I would hope that there might be a basic microcar body lineup with a one mini-car for each era. Though additional microcars and microvans for DLC's I would be all for.

Really looking forward to kei vehicle bodies...I already have turbo and non-turbo Kei engines designed and a "test" kei car built using the "older small 2-door coupe" body, but it's not the same, haha!
