I just built a 9.9ltr twin turbo engine, with 4 dcoe carbs and twin cams and put it in the 70s coupe body (ford falcon xb coupe style).
it fitted nicely only stuck out the bonnet a little bit, nothing a bonnet bulge wouldn't cover.

I then went to make a NA version of the same engine - just removed the turbos and left the rest the same.
Now it won't let me put it in the car, says its too big.

I needed to reduce it to 8.17ltrs to get it to fit.

It would be nice to be allowed extra height with the engines, then use bonnet bulges and scoops to cover them or have a hole cut out to suit.

Yeah that must be a bug as a 9.9L TT engine probably shouldnt fit, especially if its sticking out the bonnet haha.

As regards extra height with the engines, I dont think thats gonna happen. Also an 8.17L engine is huge for a production car, doing this in campaign will probably kill your company. I dont think hole cuts in bonnets are all that common on production cars either?

Just on a side note, wasnt the largest engine in a Falcon xb a 5.8L engine anyway so your doing well already with engine bay size? :p

There used to be a bug where parts of the engine were not taken into account for engine size when turbos were added. I thought this was fixed but perhaps it isnt
