Body costs

Hi
I'm assuming there will be costs for the car design (eg steel will be cheaper than aluminium).

But will there also be a maintenance/repair/insurance cost as well? Eg Aluminium will cost significantly more to repair since you can't just beat a dent out of an aluminium panel the way you can with steel.

Also will there be penalties with some combinations? Eg Heavy penalties when aluminium and steel are used in the same car; for example during a repair, if aluminium dust touches steel, it will cause the steel to corrode.

Re: Body costs

Costs and other things like environmental resistance will be a thing, yes, as well as service costs. Repairs will not though, I would say that this would be too small an aspect to consider. :)
