DSG gearbox

I looked that Automation needs a double clutch automatic gearbox (not sequential).

I proposed this feature, but the forum was blocked, and I don't received any feedback.

Re: DSG gearbox

IIRC a DSG is not an automatic transmission but still a manual transmission just without a clutch pedal.

No. A manual transmission without clutch is a robotized gearbox (is a sh*t), and the DSG is a automatic gearbox (and you can select manually the sequential mode) but is an automatic gearbox with double clutch instead torque converter.

Is more quicker than a manual and a normal automatic gearbox but equally than a sequential, with a lower fuel consumption that the rest of gearbox, and can support powerful engines (the Veyron uses a DSG).

Re: DSG gearbox

Yeah, I don't think the devs are referring to a dog clutch racing style transmission when they say "sequential" like the OP seems to be thinking. For the purposes of the game, the terms are interchangeable.

Re: DSG gearbox

Sequential single clutch is automated manual, as found on Aston martins and the Ferrari f430.

Sequential double clutch is the DSG/PDK
