Sorry if this is the wrong section but I can't seem to find a clear answer....
What body options are being developed for the car designer? Mini cars? Mid size large sedans? Small, mid and large SUV;s? PIck up trucks??
Could a dev maybe provide some light on what body types are being or plan to be develops as like I said can't seem to find a clean answer thought the search

Thanks!

Actually, all the ones you named. Coupes, Minicars, sedans, stations, SUVs would be in and pickup trucks too... All ranging from 40s to 2010s style.
I know because when I was still a beta tester, I helped gathering information about wheelbase sizes and such for these type of carmodels.

Out of curiosity, can we also expect convertibles ? (Having at least soft top vehicles would be nice IMO)

Would be awesome if we could re-make an '88 Pontiac Fiero in the game. Then have fun making engines for it. Mid engine, rear drive, ~273kg chassis, short wheelbase, close to 50/50 weight balance from the factory, stiffer chassis than the MR2 of the time, but slower because GM couldn't exactly make good engines back then.

I think the devs are planning front mid and rear engine cars? Like a beetle or a lotus

I reckon a few of the current shells could be rear engined, just chassis settings.
The saloon and coupe types could.

Yeah, we're working on a kinda Fiero/AW11 MR2 styled thing for the first mid engine body, won't be in the next update though as lots more chassis tweaks needed to make it work.

Is there a full sized estate/station wagon, I ask because I just saw one of these and I'd love to recreate the classic american power wagon.

At least not in the next update. Everything after that is unknown.
