On the topic of the Tycoon part and Next Update

Right so.. I spend a lot of time just looking through the various questions that are asked and answered, but there are some I've not seen yet asked. While most have been asking about engine types, diesels and blah blah.
I actually have had my curiosity piqued by things such as the racing headers which are not available for mass production.
During the tycoon part of the game, will there be a function to set a car to a limited production number? Such as releasing a sport version of one of your regular cars, and scheduling it for a short production run.
Also, I imagine it's a straightforward question, but I'd like a direct answer instead of an assumption: Will we be able to cancel production of models at whim? Say you release a sporty/unsporty coupe/hatch and don't get quite the reception you'd like, would you be able to cancel the model instead of further sinking money into the production of it?
I believe this one has been asked before, but will there be a simple way to build a "Next Generation" car to succeed the old version?
---------
As far as next update goes, I'm not going to push for the release date, I'm actually just curious as to what to expect aside from suspension modeling and fuel consumption calculations. Thank you for your time, sorry if I've missed topics that contain these questions.
