How will the game handle trim models for cars?
Re: Trim Models
Quite simply...
There will be no interior models for the car at all. There will be trim options, but they have no visual component to them. We have to draw the line somewhere, otherwise this game will never be finished.

Re: Trim Models
I may be wrong but I think there might be confusion on this. I believe trim here is not used in the context of the type of molding used on the dash etc., but in the context of submodels of a car. For example, A-series model consisting of the A1, A2, and A3 trim models. Did a quick and dirty search to try to find an example to help explain what I am talking about if I did so poorly here. http://www.autos.com/car-buying/compari ... yers-guide

Not only in terms of interiors and options but also engines. I mean the same body can be used with 1.4, 1.6 and a sporty 2.0 Turbo

Re: Trim Models
That was my take on it too. I'm also curious how it will be handled in game. I didn't see anything relating to it in the (awesome) video.
Re: Trim Models
Yes, you will be able to build different variants of the same car, how exactly we're handling that I'll have to confirm though.

That's exactly what I meant. Sorry for the confusion.
