Dyno simulator at launch?

I'm wondering if a more realistic dyno simulator will be included at launch - when I say 'more realistic', I mean testing a completed car on a dyno with gearbox controls and a wheel speed gauge, not necessarily with detailed graphics.
Thanks in advance.

Probably not, because your engine has already been on the dyno. But of course you will get all kinds of performance figures for your cars (which you could consider car dyno figures), with gearing and everything.
Cheers!

Thanks.
Just one more thing - I feel like the MTBF system is flawed.
For example, if I set the redline to 10000rpm, the MTBF calculation system won't take in the fact that most drivers won't rev the engine over, let's say 7500rpm for more than a few seconds.
Or will it?

No it does not because you don't know how the driver will use the engine. This depends very much on the gearbox settings.

To dyno the whole car is something I would also be interested in. I have the same wishes as the first poster.

You already have the dyno in the game. Check the power graph on the final testing tab, that one shows power at the wheels.

I think one thing that I find currently unsatisfying with the model year stats is that they are "just there" once you put it together.
With the engine designer you get to see and hear the engine rev up.
It would be nice to see some sort of equivalent for the models, even if it's just the car on a rolling road with wheels spinning while being revved

Such things will be added eventually, it's not a high priority right now though. Game-mechanics first, looks and feel after that.

Yeah we do want to do some test track animations of some kind for the handling tests etc. eventually.
I really don't see the point of a Chassis dyno test at all though, it'll be exactly the same as the engine dyno tests but with added gearbox losses, that you already have a stat for anyhow. And a Chassis dyno is hardly exciting to watch compared to a car actually driving in a test.

Brill!
For me it wasn't about the dyno tests per se,, but about seeing my complete creation "come to life", and as you say, you have much betters things in plan
