I have been watching some dyno runs
I have noticed thy make sure the engine is up to temp before doing a dyno pull
could a light be added in the test mode that wood come on to show the engine is up to operating temp

What gameplay purpose would that serve exactly? Apart from wasting people's time, of course.
The added immersion would be killed by the negative effects of that. We may add a temperature measurement for the car+engine though, as that makes more sense.

will what i was kind of think is the engine sats would change with heat so you make sure your body was getting the air not to overheat the engine

Getting enough vents and/or holes in your cardesigner body will already influence heat on the engine. This has been described by the developers in an earlier post which I've read. Don't know which one exactly though, but it's there.

I thought this thread was gonna ask if head gasket failure and overheating was going to be an issue

overheating WILL be an issue, but in the car designer, not in the engine designer.
