Valve float

For some reason after a recent update all engines seem to get valve float at much lower RPM than they used to.
It's become very difficult to make anything but a tiny bore engine rev high (like 8000 RPM or something) without giving it a ridiculous cam profile/quality.
Is this for realism or what's happening?

Great job with the car designer btw. I'm really enjoying it! :D
Cheers, Kris.

Re: Valve float

Jupp, that's realism... or pretty close. We calibrated it versus a wide range of different engines.
Before the patch it was only really possible to get valve float with pushrod engines before the internals explode. That has changed indeed ;)
