V6 engines

Hello automation staff,

I want to first say great job so far .... the content that is out is awesome and I believe the end game will be something to enjoy for years.

As the subject title states when are V6 engines coming out ? I figured they would have launched with the V8's or I6's ...... will there be V6 engines.... I'm not a programmer but i would have figured after brining out V8's and Crossplane V8's that V6's would have been easily done.

Keep up the great work and i look forward to the turbo update =)

Regards,

Automation pre-order and supporter.

( I tryed the search function and did not find this information before i made this post)

Re: V6 engines

They'll be coming out after the car designer and some of the economic sim.

Whilst a lot of the art can be based off the V8 art it still takes ages to model all the new extractors, fuel systems etc, plus we usually do new scenarios with new engines and they take a few months of testing and balancing on the part of our testing team.

I personally think you should just concentrate on finishing the main game, instead of using "few months" in something I consider as just some extra stuff.

Well, its a few months of the testers time so that's a bit different. But yes, that's one of the reasons we are not doing v6s yet. Gotta get the main game done sometime!

100% completed final release is over a year away (no confirmed date), but there will be lots of major releases along the way. We'll keep working until it's done to the standard we want it done to.
