Power output

Hello, from what i see, the power output is at the flywheel, will we get corrected power outputs for 2WD and 4WD (19% loss and 36% loss respectively) on the new version of the engine designer ?

Those losses depend an awful lot on what gearbox (auto/manual & how good it is) + Diffs its attached to. As such there is no use trying to display it until its in a car and attached to a drive train.

I'm not sure what gave you the impression there are exact fixed percentages that apply to 4wd and 2wd cars, this might be an interesting read regarding the factors at play in drivetrain losses :) http://www.modified.com/tech/modp-1005- ... ewall.html

quite interesting read, i"ll keep that in mind, got those numbers from a enthusiast forum on toyota FWD and AWD, so nothing of use here, sry.
